The 2nd what not blog theme was dangerous cute. I thought of Time Bandits and Looney Toons. Pen, Pencil, Brush pen and markers with some photoshop.

This is my third cover for the 4 issue King Conan series "The Phoenix on the Sword." I go to work from a passage by Robert E. Howard and this is what I saw. Acrylics, watercolors, gouache and inks.

blue estate

just finished one page for the image comic, blue estate. it’s the first page of issue 8. only had time to draw one page- still really busy with the 5th beatle graphic novel. it’s a great comic with great artists like toby cypress, robert valley and viktor kalvachev. i'll post the page in a few weeks. don't want to spoil the story.
