
So I painted King Conan this past weekend at the Heroes Con in Charlotte. It took up most of my day on Saturday. I think I spent about 5 hours on stage painting. Now I did complete the drawing in vine charcoal the night before. It was purchased by Sheldon's daughter at the Heros' art auction held saturday night.
Anyhoo, I have Jason Schachter to thank for all the great photos. Not much else to say about the process. Vine charcoal, crayons and acrylic applied generously.

no problem. i don't mind sharing. everything i learned was from other artists sharing their materials and techniques with me.
